Spring 2004. While working deep inside a forensic psych ward, some inmates charts carried two brutal warnings: DTO PRECAUTIONS and DANGEROUS TO OTHERS. Labels meant to signal a history of violent and/or unpredictable behavior.

I took that raw energy and merged it with everything that defined my world—rebellion, streetwear, adrenaline fueled action & sand sports including off roading. A heavy influence of Southern Californias West Coast Culture and adventurous outdoor activities. That collision sparked the brand’s identity: bold, fearless, and impossible to ignore.

While living in a small bedroom in the San Gabriel Valley, powered by nothing but creativity, and the desire to express myself through street fashion I hand drew the first logo inspired by experience and the love graffiti art. No investors. No roadmap. Just $360, five dozen tees, and a vision made for the ones who live life on their own terms, take risks, ride hard, and chase adrenaline.

DTO is built from street raised thrill seekers. Authentic & Unapologetic, with no desire to fit into modern day society.
